UEFA presented the logo for the Champions League final

UEFA officially presented the logo for the Champions League final in the 2021/2022 season in St. Petersburg. The image is based on an abstract style of art inspired by Russian artists Vasily Kandinsky and Kazimir Malevich. The image captures the exciting atmosphere around the White Nights festival, which will take place when the finale takes place.

The visual image includes references to the iconic bridges over the Neva River in St. Petersburg. The design also includes the Bronze Horseman, a monument to the city's founder Peter the Great and St. Isaac's Cathedral, as well as the Lahti Center, which is the tallest building in Europe and overlooks Gazprom Arena.

The logo was designed by renowned local artist Maxim Zhestkov, who uses a technique called Suprematism, an artistic movement focused on basic geometric shapes developed by Malevich more than a century ago.
