Two qualifying rounds of the 2022 World Cup campaign in South America have been postponed due to the KOVID-19 pandemic.
The matches were scheduled for March 25/26 and March 30, but the South American Football Confederation CONMEBOL decided to postpone them, as many players playing in Europe will not be able to travel due to restrictions imposed to combat the spread of the coronavirus.
CONMEBOL will discuss with FIFA the possible new dates for the qualifications, and most likely the meetings will be rescheduled for the period September-October.
