Glasgow Rangers have won the Scottish Football Cup for the 34th time, retaliating in part against fans for the Europa League final they lost to Eintracht Frankfurt earlier this week.
At Hampden Park in Glasgow, the symbolic Rangers won 2-0 over Hearts after extra time. In the regular time the pressure of the "blues" did not work and after 90 minutes of play the result was 0: 0.
However, Rangers struck a decisive blow immediately after the start of the added 30 minutes. In the 94th minute Ryan Jack opened, and three minutes later Scott Wright decided everything with a goal for 2: 0.
For the Rangers team led by Giovanni van Bronhorst, this is the first Scottish Cup since the 2008/09 season.
