Killian Mbape became the youngest player to score 100 goals in Ligue 1. He led Paris Saint-Germain to a 4-2 victory away to Olympique Lyonnais and to first place in the French championship.
Mbape scored two of the four goals in Lyon's goal.
With 84 goals in the league for PSG and 16 for Monaco, he became the youngest player to reach 100 goals in the French first division.
So far, the record was held by Herve Revelli with the team of Saint-Etienne. He did so in 1969, when he was 23 years old and scored 100 goals in 153 games.
Mbape scored his 100 goals in 91 games and is 22 years old.
"This is an important stage in my career, but I am still very young and I can get better. This is a new stage in my career, a new step towards history. The road continues, just beginning. "I have many years to improve," Mbape said.
