Leicester vs Chelsea Prediction and Analysis
Leicester City host Chelsea this Saturday afternoon in a match of the 27th round of the English Premier League.
The Foxes are in poor form with 4 straight losses. And only 2-3 points more than the teams in the relegation zone.
The Foxes have found themselves in a similar predicament on other occasions over the last few Premier League seasons.
But they always managed to get away.
I believe they will do it now. Despite the crisis they fell into.
Even a loss today will not wipe out their chances of salvation. Because in this part of the ranking it is densely populated.
Because the last 9 teams are collected in only 6 points.
On the other side is Chelsea, who have apparently come out of the crisis.
The Blues go into the game with confidence after beating Dortmund and progressing to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
Chelsea have been playing well against Leicester lately, going 3-1-0 in their previous 4 matches against them.
As two of those three wins were by exactly 1 goal difference.
This is exactly my prediction for the current match.
Bournemouth vs Liverpool Prediction, Betting Tip & Match Preview
Leicester are on a 4 game losing streak
Leicester City have lost 3 in a row in the Premier League and 4 in total if you count the elimination from the FA Cup.
For the cup, the Foxes lost at home to Championship contenders Blackburn 1-2, which was a big surprise.
As for Premier League losses, the negative streak began in Manchester against United 0-3.
Then at home to Arsenal 0-1. And finally as visitors to Southampton, also 0-1.
As you can see, all three league defeats were goalless.
This sets off the alarm. And Brendan Rodgers has to do something to wake up his boys.
Iheanacho is not at the required level. And while fans are criticizing the striker, the Leicester manager is defending him.
Their defenses at home are vulnerable. As the Foxes have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 6 matches here.
This is another proof of their crisis and problems.
Chelsea are back to winning ways
Chelsea are showing serious signs of emerging from the crisis they have found themselves in in recent weeks.
The London side got the better of Dortmund in the Champions League on Tuesday, beating them 2-0.
Thus, the Blues erased the deficit from the first game.
The goals came from Raheem Sterling and then Kai Havertz in the 2nd half.
After the 1-0 win over Leeds last weekend, it's another boost for Graham Potter and his players.
They have struggled for a while now, especially scoring goals.
As Chelsea's forwards failed to find the net in 5 of their previous 6 games before the success over Leeds.
Underperformance has been a Chelsea trademark of late.
As the 9 previous games the Blues have taken part in have finished under 2.5 goals. And in 6 of them there were only 1 or 0 goals.
