Kevin De Bruyne may miss the group stage of Euro 2020

Belgian international Kevin De Bruyne risks missing the group stage of the European Championship this summer due to an injury he suffered in the Champions League final.

The Manchester City midfielder has a broken nose and a bone fracture around his left eye after a clash with Chelsea defender Antonio Rüdiger.

The 29-year-old Belgian left the field at Do Dragao Stadium in Porto after an hour of playing in a typical boxing match, and in his absence Manchester City failed to score and lost the final 0: 1.

"Hello people, I just got home from the hospital. My diagnosis is a fracture of the nasal bone and a fracture of the left orbital bone," the midfielder wrote on Twitter.

"I feel good now. I am disappointed with what happened yesterday, but we will come back stronger," De Bruyne added.
